Modern Chastity publishes general educational information. We are not clinicians, and nothing here is a diagnosis, a treatment plan, or a substitute for professional care.
This matters more than the usual boilerplate on this topic. Devices of this kind involve real physical risks — restricted circulation, pressure injury, skin damage. The published medical literature is concentrated in emergency case reports of entrapment and strangulation, which describe harm that has already happened. That literature is not evidence that ordinary long-term wear is safe, and we do not present it as though it were. If you have circulation, sensation, or skin conditions, or if something feels wrong, talk to a clinician.

Retailer specifications change, are inconsistently defined, and are frequently incomplete — our own audit found that most listings do not publish a usable length at all.
